As a creative and strategic partner, Weld understands that whatever the weather brings, or, as it happens, doesn’t bring, the events, ad campaigns, real-time response messaging and forward-thinking marketing for the whole season are all daily considerations for a popular winter resort.

Establishing engaging messaging that accurately reflects the very best of the resort—especially how people experience and describe the resort to others—is an essential component in Weld’s strategic vision for ski resort marketing. Weld focused on highlighting the unique features of the popular ski resort to anchor Mt. Rose in the Tahoe and Reno areas as the ski destination with a local vibe that’s both friendly to families and ideal for daily skiers. The features we worked to promote were its high base elevation, quick-access slopeside parking, fun and spirited events, and convenient proximity. Now firmly rooted in these narratives, we’re excited to see what Weld and Mt. Rose plan and build for the future, together.
